Using the ladder
WARNING!
Danger of serious injuries!
If you do not use the ladder as intended, you may injure yourself and others.
− Only climb the ladder if you:
•
have set it up properly at an appropriate place and in line with the
instructions,
•
are wearing enclosed footwear,
•
have carefully read and understood all the information in the “Safety”
chapter.
− Make sure that the ladder’s locking devices are working and that all extended
sections are properly locked before you climb the ladder.
− Do not leave children alone and unsupervised with the set up ladder.
− Do not climb onto the top three rungs or the top bracket of the ladder.
− Do not move the ladder while you are standing on it.
− Make sure that the ladder is properly secured when you move it.
− Only climb the ladder if you have set it up at the correct angle of 75° (1:4
inclination).
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing!
You may trap or crush your fingers if you do not take care when extending the
ladder or sliding it back together.
− Take care when extending the ladder or sliding it back together.
− Make sure that your fingers, hands and arms are at the height of the actuated
unlocking buttons when sliding the ladder together.
Locking device
The locking device on the rungs 5 lock the individual sections of the ladder when
you extend it.
− Always check whether all sections are properly locked before you climb the
ladder:
•
A section’s locking device
is locked
, when the red section next to both
unlocking buttons 1 on a rung are
not visible

).
•
If you place pressure on the relevant rung, it does not slide down.
