USER INSTRUCTIONS
NRS WHEELED COMMODE
General Safety Warning
Please make sure that you read and follow these
instructions carefully. Failure to do so can result in
injury. Keep these instructions in a safe place for
future reference.

1.0 INTENDED USE
The Wheeled Commode range is designed for use as a commode or over a standard toilet. Subject to completion of
a suitable risk assessment it can be used for short transfers to move the user over the toilet. It features removable
arms to enable side transfers.

2.0 SAFETY
Always perform a risk assessment prior to use, including
safe moving distance.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of the product,
see table above for details.
Do not use as an alternative to a wheelchair.
Do not use in a shower or as a shower chair.
Do not use the product outdoors. Only use on indoor level
surfaces and take care over door thresholds.
Always engage the brakes and swing away or lift off the
footrests when the user is transferring onto or off the
commode.
Take care to ensure all body parts are inside the perimeter
of the commode when passing through doorways.
3.0 UNPACKING
Remove packaging and check all parts carefully. If any
parts appear damaged do not assemble and contact your
supplier immediately. See Table 1 for contents list.

4.1 M66119 ONLY
1. Fit the adjustable height castors to the main chassis
by sliding the tube inside the chassis frame, to the
desired height and secure using an ‘e-clip’.
Note:
The height should be set such that the user
feels comfortable but also allows for adequate
clearance if being used over a toilet.
2. Always ensure all four castors are set at equal height.
4.2 ALL MODELS
1. Attach the arms by slotting the tube inside the main
chassis frame on either side of the seat moulding.
2. Attach the backrest by slotting the tube inside
the main chassis frame and secure in position by
inserting and tightening the hand wheels.
