3. Do not over tighten the hand wheels. Turn until you
feel resistance and the screw thread is biting against
the leg of the backrest. Do not use tools.
4. Attach the footrests to the main chassis frame by
fi
tting over the two studs on either side of the main
chassis frame. The footrest will stick out to the side.
5. Gently push to rotate the footrest to the front of the
commode and secure in position by closing the lever
shut.
6. Fit the potty by sliding it onto the metal runners at the
rear of the commode and pushing it forwards.
7. Place the seat pad over the moulded seat.
5.0 FOOTREST HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Detach each footrest from the commode by pulling
the lever to allow the footrest to swing out sideways.
2. Lift the footrest up and off the two studs and turn
upside down.
3. Use the spanner provided to loosen the locking nut
on the end of the tube.
4. Slide the inner tube to the desired height.
5. Use the spanner to re-tighten the nut and secure the
position.

t the footrest to the commode, see section 4.2.
6.0 CLEANING

6.1 COMMODE POTTY
1. Remove the commode potty by carefully sliding it
along the metal runners at the rear of the commode.
2. Place the lid over the potty to prevent spillages and
splashing.
3. Dispose of the contents into a proper sluice or toilet.
Warning:
Never empty the contents into an open
drain, sink or basin as this could cause a severe
health risk.
4. Wash out any residue with a disinfectant solution
and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

t the potty to the commode, see section 4.2
6.2 COMMODE CHAIR & FRAME
1. Thoroughly wash the commode after each use using
a general purpose neutral detergent and warm water.
2. To disinfect, in particular the seat, wipe with a dilute
bleach solution and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
3. Please check the suitability of the cleaning product
before use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cloths
as this will permanently damage the surface and
invalidate any warranty.
7.0 MAINTENANCE
1. Inspect the product regularly for signs of wear or
damage. Pay particular attention to the upholstery.
Any suspected faults or damage should immediately
be reported to the supplier and the product taken out
of use.
2. Periodically spray a water dispersing agent (e.g.
WD40) onto all joints and castors.
3. Check that all components are correctly
fi
tted and
secure. If necessary tighten the nuts, screws and
hand wheels.
4. Check the castors are free to rotate, remove any
build-up of dirt/debris.
5. Frequently check the brakes are operational and
there are no signs of wear.

at surface, with the brakes
locked, out of reach of children
8.0 PRODUCT DISPOSAL
This product should be thoroughly cleaned prior to
disposal.
This product is manufactured from metal and plastic and
can be disposed of through Local Authority Household
Waste and Recycling Centres or through Local Trade
Waste Collectors.
9.0 PRODUCT GUARANTEE
NRS Healthcare guarantee this product for a period of
12 months, from the date of purchase, against faulty
materials and workmanship.
This guarantee does not cover; abuse, misuse,
interference or tampering with any part of the product.

your statutory rights.
