Please make sure that you read and follow 
these instructions carefully. Failure to do so 
can result in injury. Keep these instructions in a 
safe place for future reference.

1. INTENDED USE

This Shower seat is intended to be used in a bathroom or shower, to provide a stable seated surface for 
clients with reduced mobility who are unable to stand during showering. It can be folded up against the 
wall when not in use.

2. SAFETY

Warning: 

The maximum user weight must not be 

more than 136Kg (21.5st) based on the product 
being 

fi

 tted to a suitable surface using appropriate 

fi

 xings by a competent person.

It is recommended that this product should only be 
installed by a suitably quali

fi

 ed, competent person.

Only install the product in an area where 
the mounting surface is structurally sound 
(strengthening modi

fi

 cations to the 

fi

 xing surface 

may be required).
DO NOT install in 

fi

 breglass/acrylic shower 

enclosures with insu

  cient sti

 ness and strength.

This product must only be secured to the wall using 
fasteners that are appropriate to the structural base 
material.
Inspect the product at regular intervals for wear 
damage and instability, do not use if you suspect a 
fault.

3. UNPACKING

Remove the packaging and check all parts 
carefully. Contact your supplier immediately if 
parts are missing or damaged and do not try and 
assemble.

Note: 

Fixings are not supplied with this product.

4. ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION

Note: 

You must make sure that the shower base is 

level where the seat will be installed.

1.  Unfold the seat as shown in Figure 1, then 

adjust the legs to the correct height for the user.

2.  Using a spirit level, check the seat is fully level.
3. Mark the 

fi

 xing positions for the wall mounting 

brackets on the wall.

4.  Using appropriate, stainless steel screws and 

fi

 xings, secure the brackets to the wall.

5.  Check that seat can be raised and lowered 

without interference, and that the feet are 
securely in contact with the shower base when 
lowered.

6.  Make sure the seat is fully secure before use.

5. IN USE

Note: 

Always raise and lower the shower seat using 

the seat only, not the legs.

1.  Pull the seat down from the wall, making sure 

that both legs are level and in contact with the 
shower 

fl

 oor.

2.  Check the seat it is fully secure before sitting 

down.

3.  Sit centrally on the shower seat.
4.  Raise the seat when not in use.
