7. TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1
INITIAL AUTO-TEST
Each time the equipment is switched on, starts an automatic test (duration approx. 15 s) checking sequen-
tially any main component.
Three beeps signal the end of the auto-test and, if positively passed, the message
Card Good
is displayed .
Whatever fault detected, it will be shown on the display and stored with the alarm code of the Table C (see
chapter ALARM).
To skip the auto-test, turn on the unit and push a key immediately after.
7.1.1
Water quality check
To prevent the accidental use of poor quality demineralized water, the sterilizer is equipped with a device that
monitors the water conductivity; this check starts at the switching-on (initial auto-test), provided that the unit is
at environment temperature and with the main tank full.
At the end of the auto-test, the display will show the message «
H2O good
» or «
H2O hard
» if the meas-
ured conductivity value is respectively lower or higher than 15 µS.
ATTENTION
The negative result of the water quality check does not stop the operation of the sterilizer; anyway, it
is strictly recommended to replace the water with a type of better quality.
The following table shows the minimum values suggested for the feeding water.
