The Email Page allows users to configure the necessary settings that enable the ENVIROMUX-MINI to send emails via an SMTP
server. It requires the following settings:

ENVIROMUX-MINI Email Address-

Defines the content of the "

From"

field in the email messages sent by ENVIROMUX-

MINI.

Note: Some SMTP servers may not accept invalid email addresses and may block some domain names. Be sure that
the address is accepted by the SMTP server

Note: The ENVIROMUX-MINI will not work on a network whose SMTP server requires password authentication.   The
ENVIROMUX-MINI is not designed to submit a password when sending alerts via email.

SMTP Server-

Defines the outgoing SMTP server by its DNS name or numeric IP address.

Notify addresses-

Defines the email addresses of recipient(s).  Addresses (up to 3) must be separated by comma. A

maximum of 112 characters (including commas) is accepted in this field.

Note: Improper configuration of these fields may temporarily cause the ENVIROMUX-MINI to stop working. To
troubleshoot email configuration problems, check for one or more of the following:

The indicated SMTP server name is incorrect.

The unit cannot reach the DNS server and cannot look up the numeric IP.

The DNS Server is entered incorrectly in the Network Settings Page.

The SMTP server does not accept the ENVIROMUX-MINI Email Address.

All values are entered correctly, but the unit cannot reach the SMTP server for network routing reasons.

IE:  In the SMTP Server field,

     smtp.mydomain.com_

the extra space at the end of the address will cause a

failure.
