Video Calls
Fees for this communication method are based
on the connection time.
Video calls are available between terminals
compatible with DoCoMo’s video calls (comply
with “3G-324M*

standardized by 3GPP*

,
international standard”).
*1: 3G-324M is an international standard for 3rd generation
mobile video calls.
*2: 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) is a regional
standardizing organization founded to develop common
technology specifications for 3rd generation mobile
communication systems (IMT-2000).

Connection cannot be established if the other party’s
terminal does not handle DoCoMo video calls or even if it
does, when the terminal is out of a service area or the
terminal power is turned off.
•
This FOMA terminal does not support 32Kbps video calls.
•
An audio device such as a USB compatible Web camera,
earphone or microphone (commercially available) is
required in addition to the application software in order to
make voice calls.
•
Use an audio device such as an earphone or microphone
by connecting to the earphone or microphone terminal of
the PC.
•
Digital communication fees apply for video calls.
•
For details on using applications or devices, refer to their
respective instruction manuals.

Inserting the FOMA
Terminal into a PC
Inserting
When connecting the FOMA terminal to a PC for
the first time, you need to install the M2501
HIGH-SPEED Communication Configuration
Files (Drivers) in advance.

Files (Drivers)” (P25).

side up and slide straight into the PC
card slot
• The location of a PC card slot and the way the card is
inserted vary depending on the PC.
• Insert the card all the way into the PC card slot securely.
• It is not easily to insert in the PC card slot depending on
the PC.
• You may feel inconvenient to insert the FOMA terminal
to the card slot depending on the PC.
However, do not insert it by sheer strength. Otherwise,
the terminal and your PC may be crushed or damaged.
If the terminal does not insert smoothly, make sure it is
aligned properly and try to insert it again.
