3. Remove the batteries from the battery holder.
4. Wash the battery holder (without the batteries) in warm
soapy water.
5.
Rinse the battery holder in clean water and dry well.
Place it overnight in the drying kit.
6.
Insert the batteries, and replace the battery holder in the
speech processor.
7.
Turn on the speech processor.
If battery life is still limited you may need to replace the
protective cover itself. It is under the plug at the base of your
battery holder.
To replace the protective cover:
1.
Turn off your speech processor and remove it from your
head.
2.
Remove the battery holder: with your fi ngernail in each
side of the base of the battery holder, pull the battery
holder down and out.
