9. Storing milk
9.1 Using the Breast Milk
Container
Breast milk may be chilled, frozen and
defrosted in the breast milk container. The
breast milk container may also be used for
warming and feeding. It is important that
you follow the instructions about handling
breast milk which is provided in
“9.2
Important information for handling
Warning!
For hygienic reasons:
If the breast milk is not used
immediately, you must seal the
filled breast milk container firmly
and store it in the refrigerator or
freeze it.
Using a suitable pen or label, write
the date and the time when the
breast milk was expressed. Be sure
to note the retention periods in
“9.2 Important
handling breast milk” on page 20.
Caution!
To avoid damage to the pump or
the container:
• Do not place the entire NUK Breast Pump
in the refrigerator, just the breast milk
container
with screw ring
