2. Depending on the type of baby bottle or jar,
place either the basket
or the trivet
in
the centre of the base
(see Fig. B).
The accessories should always be dry. The
basket should preferably be used only if it fits
the size of your bottles/jars.
3. Measure up the required quantity of water
with the measuring container
.
Use the measuring container to measure the
precise quantity of water. You may need to
use the measuring container several times if
relatively large quantities of water are
involved. The quantity of water evaporating
affects the final temperature of the food, so
accurate measuring is important.
4. Pour the measured quantity of water into the
base
(see Fig. C).
5. Put the
open
baby bottle or
open
jar in the
basket
.
with
baby bottle or jar in the base
(see Fig. D).
7. If specified in the table on page 24, insert the
ring
on the baby bottle to limit the escape
of water vapor.
8. Check wether you selected the correct mode
(see “6.1 Select the operating mode,
switching on and off“ on page 23).
9. Connect the device to the power supply:
–
"Home" mode:
connect the power supply
plug to the power supply (see Fig. E).
–
"Car" mode:
plug the vehicle adapter into
the 12 V power socket of the vehicle.
10. Briefly push down the ON button
until the
indicator lamp
comes on (see Fig. G).
The device cannot be switched off using the
ON button
. The device can only be switched
off prematurely by pulling out the plug.
11. Remove the baby bottle or jar.
Note:
– The temperature achieved may vary
depending on the initial temperature,
quantity and type of the baby food.
– To distribute the heat evenly, stir the baby
food in the jar after the device switches off.
– If the baby food is not hot enough, put a
little more water in the NUK Baby Food
Warmer the next time you heat up food.
– If the baby food is too hot, put a little less
water in the NUK Baby Food Warmer the
next time you heat up food.
– In "Car" mode, you need to allow much
longer heating-up times due to the lower
heating output (100 W).
12.
After heating:
Stir the contents of the jar.
Before feeding your child, check on the
inside of your wrist whether the temperature
of the food is safe for your baby. A sensible
temperature is around 37 °C, which is the
same as your own body temperature.
13. To turn the device off, push
the button "home / auto /
off"
in the "OFF" position.
14. Disconnect the device from the power
supply after use.
