Matching handheld home/function menus
Locate
menu
Locate: an electronic compass which indicates the direction of the dog being tracked.
Dogs menu
Dogs: displays the list of dogs saved on your handheld. You can also add a collar, delete it,
rename it or view its settings.
Training
menu
Training: allows you to choose the dogs for which you want to use the training function.
Groups
menu
Group: allows you to divide your dogs into 8 groups with different colours, change the
composition of the groups, and show or hide the dog on the compass.
GPS status
menu
GPS status: allows you to see your handheld's GPS status: the GPS reception status (good,
medium, bad), your handheld's GPS position, the altitude, and the accuracy of your GPS.
Bluetooth
menu
Bluetooth: you can activate or deactivate Bluetooth or rename it. From this menu you can
also find the QR code that will allow you to download the Canicom GPS app (if you want to
have the location on a basemap).
Frequencies
menu
Frequencies: you can see the frequency you are on and change it if you want (France: 2
channels or Europe: 6 channels).
Settings
menu
Settings: this menu allows you to adjust your handheld's settings: you can calibrate your
compass, set when the screen switches off (the screen turns black), adjust the displays on
your compass screen (arrow or number to indicate the dog's direction and the number of
dogs displayed under your compass), restore factory settings for the handheld, set the date
and time, select the interface language and adjust the screen's backlight (brightness and
programme reduced intensity),
Information
menu
Information: this menu contains information about your product (serial No. and software
version), our company's contact details and a QR code which takes you to your Canicom
GPS user guide.
