DOCKING MANUALE
Normally the robot is able to carry out the AUTODOCK procedure successfully and independently. In case of
problems it is possible to drive the robot manually moving it as close as possible to the docking station rotating
180 ° and carefully driving in reverse until connection is established. For this type of movement it is advisable to
use the navigation camera.
FOLLOW ME
This mode is always on and it is very useful when you need to move the robot for short distances for example,
you do not have a device with control customers…!?!? or connectivity. The use of this procedure avoids manual
transport. In fact, when the robot recognizes the corresponding visual marker (see Appendix 1), it tries to
progressively approach it until it reaches a distance of 50 cm. If a person hold and show the marker, the robot
will automatically follow the marker. When, for any reason, there is no visual contact between the "robot and
marker", the procedure will be automatically deactivated and the robot will stop.
AUTONOMY and CHARGING
Ra.Ro. has a red LED (figure on the side), useful for understanding the state of
activity of the robot. Ra.Ro. uses a series of processes specifically developed
for Energy Saving. Processes that allow an advanced and optimized
management based on 4 different levels of energy consumption.
The levels are:

Hibernation
In case of difficulty with both autodocking and manual docking, it is possible to physically move
the robot, pushing it carefully, so that all six tips on the back of the cover make contact with the
three aluminum strips of the docking station.
Using the FOLLOW ME mode, the robot does not activate the Smart Drive navigation system,
therefore, during movement, make sure that the robot has a trajectory free of obstacles in
front of it.
