THANK YOU
for buying this product. To help ensure it gives complete satisfaction please install it according
to these instructions, and then pass the instructions to the appropriate person for retention and future
reference.
SAFETY
This is a mains powered product. It is designed to be installed by suitably qualified personnel
only and in accordance with the applicable building and electrical regulations. Before installation or
maintenance the electrical supply to the product must be isolated.
WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free of defects in materials, design and workmanship for 12
months from the date of purchase. If a suspected fault should develop in this time, please contact us at the
address above. This warranty does not extend to consumable items such as lamps and fuses.

If installation advice or accessories are required, please also contact us at the
above address. We will do our best to help. When reporting a suspected fault or seeking installation support,
the problem is likely to be resolved most quickly if you have full product details to-hand, as well as details of
when and where it was purchased.
LUMINAIRE INSTALLATION
1. The luminaire is able to be fixed via the following methods; once chosen, prepare the ceiling/mounting
points ensuring the chosen fixing surface/mechanism is sufficient to support the luminaire weight:
•
Chain, Rod or Wire suspension
: 20mm & 10mm holes are provided in each corner of the base
of the luminaire. You should be able to connect your chosen suspension method without having to
enter or disassemble the housing.
•
End suspension brackets
(for Trunking & Bus-bar): The luminaire comes complete with a
suspension bracket mounted to each end of the product in its transit position. This can be
removed by undoing the 2-off M5 screws & then orientating to provide either a central 20mm or
11mm diameter hole. The screws then need to be put back in to secure the chosen position. Offer
up to fixing point & secure.
For the longer variants extra holes are provided along the centre line for additional fixing points to
provide more support if required. The central reflector troughs will need to be removed to expose
these. This is done by loosening the reflector screws, sliding on the keyhole slots & removing.
•
Besa fixing points
: These will need to be exposed by removing certain reflector troughs. This is
done by identifying the appropriate reflectors, loosening the reflector fixing screws, sliding on the
keyhole slots then fully remove. Offer the fitting up to the fixing surface & secure then refit the
reflectors.
•
Keyholes slots
(PLL versions only): These are located in each corner on the base & accessed
via the terminal compartment at one end & in the gap between the end of the reflectors & the end
of the body enclosure at the other end. Offer up to mounting surface & fix using screws with a
head size that will not pull through the smaller aperture of the keyhole slot.
2. Mains supply connection is achieved via one of the following methods:
•
Pluggable GST connector (Optional extra)
: If this option has been chosen then a panel
mounted connector will be fitted to the base of the luminaire. This will be a Wieland or Metway
GST male 4-pole 16A rated connector. Simply plug in an appropriate mating female connector
with the mains feed connected, ensuring correct polarity is observed.
These are available along with a range of wiring accessories from NVC.
•
Standard terminal block connection
: Open the terminal compartment to expose the terminal
block by loosening the M4 screws on the end of the fitting & hinging open the terminal cover plate.
Pass the mains supply cable through one of the cable entry points in the terminal end box, route
to the fused terminal block & terminate as indicated, ensuring correct polarity is observed.
Close the terminal cover plate & tighten the M4 screws to secure in place.
