Hot/cold joint:
Using a hacksaw, cut through the cold
lead just behind the joint. Next, use a tube cutter to
cut the corrugate about 1 in (25 mm) from the joint
and then cut the MI heating cable with the hacksaw
and remove the joint (Figure 7).
