3 Getting started
This section describes the basic setup for the reference design module, and how to
launch the Labtool for manufacturing (MFG) test.
The test PC must be running on 64-bit Windows operating system.
3.1 Setup connection
Connect the DUT (reference design adapter board) as follows:

: Place the DUT in the RF Shield Box as shown in
Step 2
: Connect the DUT RF connector to the RF Tester with a RF coaxial cable and a
10 dB attenuator in series.
Step 3
: Connect a USB Type A to USB mini-B cable between the DUT Virtual UART
Connector, J3, and the Test PC.
Step 4
: Connect the 5V AC adapter to the DUT DC jack, J2, if using an external supply.
We recommend to use an external supply for MFG test; this is to prevent inadvertent
over-current draw from Test PC, when USB Port 5V of Test PC supply source is
selected.
Step 5
: Connect the Ethernet cable between the Test PC and RF Tester.
