1 Introduction

The QorIQ

®

 LS1028A reference design board (LS1028ARDB) provides a

comprehensive platform that enables design and evaluation of the the QorIQ
LS1028A processor, which is a dual-core Arm

®

 Cortex

®

-v8 A72 processor with

frequency up to 1.3 GHz.

This document provides settings of the switches, connectors, jumpers, power
supplies, push buttons, and LEDs present on the LS1028ARDB. It also explains
how to set up and boot the board.

The LS1028ARDB functions with an integrated development environment
(IDE), such as CodeWarrior Development Studio. For instructions on how to
work with the CodeWarrior Development Studio IDE, see
