HITAG2-Extended
Since the HITAG2-Extended transponder is an extension of the HITAG2 transponder the
write control of the first 8 pages is the same. The read access of the extended memory is
controlled via the

vided by the user into segments and blocks. If you want to write memory the according
segments and block sizes have to be “opened”. The first definition with block size zero
disables the rest of the memory. Thus:

Check the write access mode of each segment in the Read/Write column.
The block size can’t be changed anymore if the appropriate PWS checkbox is enabled
(locked). The write access mode can’t be changed anymore if the appropriate PWM
checkbox is enabled (locked).

7.4 Use HITAG2-Extended as HITAG2
Since the HITAG2-Extended transponder is an extension of the HITAG2 transponder the
first 8 pages are almost the same. These pages are relevant for the authentication. This
circumstance you can use to access the first 8 page memory of the HITAG2-Extended
via a HITAG2 configuration.

Reset Delay value from HITAG2 (2000) to HITAG2-Extended (7000).
7.5 No access to HITAG-Pro 2 distance
In order to access the HITAG-Pro 2 distance functionality, check the following items:

2. The transponder requires more time for booting and thus, the Delay after reset timing
must be increased to ~19ms.
3. The first segment of the transponder’s XMA memory must be readable in plain mode
in order to read distance data.
