Application software HomeEnergy Monitor
(SEM 16+ USB only)
To be able to run Home Energy Monitor, PCs require the following minimum configuration:
System requirements:
• Microsoft Windows XP,Vista or Windows 7
• Pentium 700MHz
• 256MBRAM
• 20MBfree disk space
• 1024 x 768 screen resolution
• a Windows-compatible mouse
• a USB-interface
• .NET (dotnet) Framework fromVersion 2.0
Before the SEM-LOG16+ is connected to the PC, the Home Energy Monitor application
software supplied on the CD must be installed. In order for a standby energy monitor
to be read by the software, a suitable driver must first be installed. If the device is then
connected to the PC via the USB cable (also supplied with the delivery), a dialogue for
installing the device driver will appear. You will find further information on installing and
operating the software on the CDin the manual.
Note: The Standby Energy Monitor will be recognised by the PC as a USB device even when
not connected to a power socket; however, in that case no communication will be possible.
The device must therefore be plugged into a socket to enable connection to a PC.
