the screw (2) and the corresponding terminal stop clamp (4) away using the suitable tubular
spanner. After the above steps you have to position the throttle lever (5) tightened on the
handlebar on stop position as indicated by the arrow. After that connect the terminal end wire (3)
into the hole (6) on the leverage (1) of the engine.
Position the wire protective covering (3) on the base of the binding clamp (4) and tighten it with a
screw (2).
ASSEMBLY OF THE CABLE FOR THE CONTROL BAR DRIVE (Fig. 7)
The cable for the control bar
drive (4) is already connected to the black gear lever for tightening (1) placed under the chassis.
Do it first and then switch it into the nib (2) hole welded to the chassis, then into the slot (A) of the
handlebar (3) as indicated by the arrow. When the cable is placed in the handlebar area, make the
terminal (5) to pass into the slot of the red lever (6) then the regulator (7) into the cut hole of the
nib (8) . Attention ! the regulator nuts (7) should be both positioned in the external part of the nib
(8) as indicated in the picture.
N.B. = we strongly recommend to perform the a.m. assembly before tightening the cutting bar device
set to the machine.
ASSEMBLY OF THE SLIDES TO THE CUTTING BLADE (Fig. 8)
ATTENTION ! Before taking the
cutting blade out of the packaging box , please check the plastic protection to be mounted on the
blade. As a precaution always wear sturdy gloves.
Position the two slides (1) under the blade (2) making the respective holes (A = slide holes and B =
blade holes) to correspond. Complete the assembly with the screws (3) washers (4) and nuts (5).
ASSEMBLY OF THE CUTTING BLADE TO THE BAR CONNECTION DEVICE (Fig. 9)
In order to
make the cutting blade assembly easier we can recommend to make such operation on a
worktable. Make the pin (1) to pass through the boss (2) you can find already assembled on the
blade (3). The cutting blade (3) is tightened to the bar connection device (4) using four screws (5)
and four nuts (6) you can find into the loose parts bag.
ASSEMBLY OF THE CUTTING BLADE CONNECTION DEVICE TO THE UNIT
The motormower is
equipped with a connection device which allows the operator to get a quick and easy connection
of the cutting bar to the machine.
Fig. 10)
with the engine stopped and the unit in a horizontal position, insert completely the
connection bar pin (1) into the unit housing (2) . Fit the belt (3) on the pulley. (4)
Fig.10 A)
position 1 and 2 : turn the handle (5) until you are able to couple the right side spring (6) to
the connection (7) .
Position 2 and 3 : to complete the above coupling , rotate the handle (5) in the opposite direction
until you are able to tension the spring (6). Repeat the same operation with the left side spring as
above described in position 1 and 2.
Fig.10 B)
the correct coupling/assembly of the (right/left) springs should be as indicated in the picture.
ASSEMBLY OF THE FIXED COVER (Fig. 11)
remove the cover from its packaging (4) already fitted with
the screw (1) the washer (2) and captive washer (3). The cover is secured by a screw (1) into the
threaded insert (5) of the bar connection. Attention ! : the bar control cable (6) should be housed in the
suitable seat (7) .
ASSEMBLY OF THE GRASS SEPARATOR COVER (Fig. 12)
Remove the grass separator cover (1) from
the packaging with already fitted the antivibrations (2). The cover is tightened with spacers (3)
washers (4) and screws (5) into the front plate slots
CORRECT POSITION OF THE CABLES (Fig.13)
(motor mower with forward speed and reverse speed).
The cables forward speed (1), reverse speed (2) and the bar control cable (3) should be fitted into the
handlebar open slot (5) as indicated by the arrow.
Fig.13 A) (motor mower equipped with forward speed only): the forward speed /Marcia Avanti M.A. (1)
and the control bar (3) should be fitted inside the handlebar open slot (5) as indicated by the arrow.
For the positioning of the throttle cable (4) please look at the picture.
