ASSEMBLY OF THE WHEELS RIMS COVERS (Fig. 10)
ATTENTION : the wheels rims covers (5) are
only available with the motormower model equipped with wheels 13 x 6.00-6. For the assembly of
the a.m. covers you need to insert the three hooks (8) inside the slots
(7) of the wheels (6).
When you have finished the assembly, switch the motor mower on and check , bringing the
accelerator to stop position , the engine to shut completely down.
SET –UP
Attention: the motor mower is delivered without the oil into the engine. The tank has got a
capacity for about 0,5 kg. and should be filled in up to the indicated level. In any case the operator
should always carefully read the engine instructions manual.

Bring the throttle lever (5) on the START position then switch the engine on. Adjust the lever in
order to reach the needed engine turns level.
Fig. 13A)
Lower the tools/attachments engagement
lever (6) for mowing, and, at the same time pull the control lever (7) to move forward. = forward speed.
In case of accidental and unforeseen obstacles, the operator must immediately leave the two control
levers (6 and 7).
Fig. 15)
when the work is finished , in order to switch the engine off, you need to bring the throttle lever
(5) on STOP position.
IMPORTANT : at the first use of the machine it is absolutely necessary to verify that inside the chassis
to be present the lubrication oil. Do no start the unit/machine on before having done such control. For
additional information please look at the chapter GEARBOX.
HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 16)
It is possible to adjust the handlebar height according to
operator’s hips height. Proceed loosening the screws (1 and 2) , adjust the height rotating
along the slots (3) and block by tightening the screws.
HOW TO CONNECT AND ADJUST THE FORWARD SPEED (Fig. 17)
in order to engage the forward
speed it is sufficient to turn down the safety catch (4) and pull the lever (3). When the lever is
released (3) the machine stops.
Fig. 18)
the wheels have to start working only when the control lever
(2) has exceeded half its way. When the lever is completely pulled ( working position) the belt stretcher
spring should extend for about 6-8 mm. In order to get the a.m. conditions , you need to operate on
the regulator (1) placed on the lever (2) . Finish the operations tightening the adjusting nuts.
HOW TO ENGAGE AND ADJUST THE REVERSE SPEED (Fig. 19)
In order to engage the reverse
speed it is sufficient to rotate the safety catch (5) and pull the lever (4). When the lever (4) is released
the machine stops.
Fig. 20)
In case the reverse speed is not properly working (because of the poor belt tensioning) you
need to work on the adjuster gear (2) you can find on the lever (1). Finish the operations tightening
the adjusting nuts.
HOW TO CONNECT AND ADJUST THE CUTTING BAR (Fig. 17)
In order to connect the cutting bar
it is sufficient to rotate the safety catch (2) to the top and to lower the lever (1). When the lever (1)
is released. the bar stops.
Fig. 18)
In order to increase the belt tensioning between the machine and the tool/accessories
you need to operate on the regulator (3) so that the bar is starting to mow only when the lever (4)
has exceeded half its way.
HOW TO ADJUST THE BLADE (Fig. 21)
After the blade change or after about 15 hours work it is
necessary to adjust the knife-holders (1). Clean the bar using a jet of water and superimpose the
teeth (2 and 3) of the two blades. The screws (4) and the nuts (5) should be used to remove the
space between the teeth which is caused by the excessive wear of the blades (please be careful
not to tighten the screws (4) too much in order not to affect the blades slipping). N.B. = for a
correct blade adjustment we recommend you to contact an authorized service centre.
HOW TO CHANGE THE CUTTING BAR AND THE CONTROL BAR BOX (Fig. 22)
Unscrew the
screws (1) , take the control box (2) out and take out the blade (4) , as indicated by the arrow. In
