Category
Intended use
City
These bikes are designed to be used in urban environments, on tarmacked
roads or cycle paths.
They are not suitable for off -road cycling, jumping or
competitions.
They comply with the EN 14764 “bicycles for use on public roads” and EN15194
“electrically power assisted bicycles” standards.
Folding
These bikes are designed to be used for the same purposes as “city” bikes. They can
be folded to make them easier to transport or store.
They are not suitable for off -
road cycling, jumping or competitions.
They comply with the EN 14764 “bicycles for use on public roads” and EN15194
“electrically power assisted bicycles” standards.
Hybrid
These bikes are designed to be used for the same purposes as “city” bikes. They
are also designed to be used on gravelled surfaces or mixed terrains.
They are not
suitable for off -road cycling, jumping or competitions.
They comply with the EN 14764 “bicycles for use on public roads” and EN15194
“electrically power assisted bicycles” standards.
MTB
These bikes are designed for off -road “Cross Country” or “All Mountain” cycling.
They comply with the EN 14766 “mountain bikes” and EN15194 “electrically power
assisted bicycles” standards.
Warning: not suitable for competitions, “Enduro” or “DH” activities.
Enduro
These bikes are designed for off -road “Enduro” cycling. They are well-suited to
steep terrains, descents and technical climbs. They comply with the EN 14766
“mountain bikes” and EN15194 “electrically power assisted bicycles” standards.
