Important!
• Do not use the balloon whisk/the thermometer in a microwave oven.
• The temperature needle is sharp, so please handle it carefully.
• Do not use the thermometer above/under the temperature limits (-50 to
200°C).
• The balloon whisk takes temperatures up to 220°C.
Pause
If you temporarily want to lock the temperature on the display in a simple way,
just press shortly the on/off button, and ”Hold” will be displayed next to the
temperature. Press the on/off button again and the temperature measuring will
be reactivated.
Indicators of warning
If the temperature is below -50°C ,”LLL” will be displayed, and if the
temperature exceeds 200°C, ”HHH” will be displayed.
The measuring of temperature stops automatically after about 40 minutes.
Changing of battery
When ”LO” is displayed it is time to change the battery. Remove the battery
cover and take out the used battery. Insert a new 1.5V AAA battery as per the
instructions in the battery housing and put back on the battery cover.
Cleaning
Always remove the battery before cleaning.
Remove the balloon whisk by pushing the
button at the lower part of the display unit
backwards and turn the balloon whisk
clockwise (see illustration). Wash the balloon
whisk by hand or in the upper basket of a
dishwasher. Next, clean the temperature
needle by using e.g. a sponge. Never clean
the display unit and the temperature needle
in a dishwasher.
NOTE!
Never put the balloon whisk/the thermometer in the sink or in a bowl
with water after use, as water may penetrate into the display unit.
Note that the balloon whisk should be cleaned immediately after contact with
fat, coloured spices, vinegar and coloured food. Avoid contact with acid such as
citrus juice.
