Add the ingredients. Make sure not to overfill the kitchen machine (max.
quantity is 1.6 kg). Turn the lever upwards to lower the mixer head. Keep
your hand on the mixer head as it is lowered into the bowl, and then plug the
appliance in. The splash guard is fitted by pressing it onto the mixer head so
that the filling hole is positioned as shown below:
Start the machine by turning the speed selector to the desired speed (1-
8). See the guidelines for speed selection further on in these instructions.
Always make sure there are ingredients in the bowl before starting the kithcen
machine.
Follow the instructions in the recipe. When mixing/whisking is finished, turn
the speed selector to 0 and unplug the appliance. Remove the lid from the
bow, press the lever upwards and place the mixer head in the vertical position.
Remove the accessory. Turn the bowl anticlockwise to remove it from the bowl
holder.
Note:
when mixing heavy dough, the kithcen machine may only be run for 10
minutes at a time. After this it must cool for 20 minutes.
Overheating
The kithcen machine is equipped with a thermostat to ensure that the
appliance has a long service life. It is activated if the motor becomes
overloaded. If the thermostat is activated, turn off the appliance and unplug it.
Wait 20 minutes before restarting the appliance.
Clean the parts as instructed in “Cleaning and maintenance”.
Setting the speed
Plug the appliance in. It is recommended that you start at the lowest speed and
then increase a little at a time. Put the lid on the bowl to avoid splashes. See
the following overview of the recommended speed settings.
Use of accessories
The following guide contains suggestions for choice of speed. Start on speed
1 and then increase the speed depending on the recipe.
