OBH Nordica Square curler

Before Use

Before the appliance is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully 
and save it for future use. 

Use

The curling iron has PTC heating element which shortens the heating time and keeps a high 
temperature (max 185˚C). 

Plug the appliance and start it by pushing the switch to I, the pilot lamp lights. Place the 
curling iron on a flat surface that sustains heat during heating. 

Put on the heat protective glove (enclosed) on the hand with which you hold the hair. Make 
sure that the hair is completely dry before you use the curler. Take a hair section and hold 
the curler close to the scalp, wind the hair section evenly around the heating element and 
hold  for  about  5-8  seconds. The  look  of  the  curls  will  vary  depending  on  how  much  hair 
you take in each section and how long you keep the hair around the heating element. It is 
recommended to test the product several times until you get the result you want. Repeat the 
same procedure with the next hair section and so on. To retain the curls, let the hair cool 
before combing or brushing.

The pictures illustrates different ways to wind the hair sec-
tion around the heating element.

Note!

 Keep the heated parts away from scalp, face, neck and hands.

Never use the appliance on wigs, extensions or artificial hair without testing on a thin hair 
section first, otherwise the wig/artificial hair may melt.

Always turn off the appliance by pushing the switch to 0 and disconnect the plug after use.

Cleaning and maintenance

•  Shut  off  the  appliance  by  pushing  the  switch  to  0  and  unplug it. Let the appliance cool 

completely on a heat resistant surface before cleaning. Make sure that the appliance is out 
of reach for children. The appliance gets very hot during use and it will take time for it too 
cool down.

•  Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids. It must never come in direct 

contact with water.

•  Do not let water escape under the cover.
•  Dry the appliance cover and iron with a damp cloth. Wipe dry.
•  Don´t wind the cord around the appliance.
•  Make sure that the appliance has cooled completely before storage.
•  Store the appliance on a dry safe place away from children after use.
