Before Use
Before the curling iron is used for the first time, read the instruction manual
carefully and save it for later use.
Use
Plug the appliance and start it by pressing the switch on the handle. The
temperature is preset at 120˚C but is easily adjusted by pressing the + button on
the handle. If you need to lower the temperature you simply press the - button.
The pilot lamps flashes to indicate selected temperature. The pilot lamps flashes
until chosen temperature is reached, then the lamps stops flashing and illuminate
as steady lights. You can now start to use the curling iron. Place the appliance on
a heat resistant surface during heating.
The curling iron has five temperature settings, please choose temperature
depending on your hair type:
120°C low temperature - fine, fragile coloured hair
140˚C medium temperature – normal hair
160˚C medium/high temperature – thick, dense hair
180-200˚C high temperature – very coarse hair
Dry your hair with a hairdryer until it is completely dry before you use the curling
iron. Open the press and place a 5 cm hair section under the spoon. Spread
the hair section evenly and roll the iron towards the scalp. If you just want
to curve the hair ends you just place the ends in the clamp and wind once.
Hold in place for 5-8 seconds depending on the length and texture of the hair.
Open the clamp and release the curl from the iron. To maintain the curl let the
hair cool before combing or brushing.
