OBH Nordica curling iron
Before Use
Before the curling iron is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully
and save it for later use.
Use
The curling iron has PTC heating element which shortens the heating time and keeps a high
temperature (max 145˚C). The curling iron can be used with 100-240V AC without switch-
over and can therefore easily be used abroad.
Plug the appliance. The pilot lamp lights. Place the curling iron on a flat surface that sustains
heat. The pilot lamp will switch on and off during use, which is normal.
Dry your hair so that it is completely dry before you use the curling iron. Open the press and
place the 5 cm hair section under the spoon. Spread the hair section evenly and roll
the iron towards the scalp. If you just want to curve the hair ends you just place the
ends in the clamp and wind once. Hold in place for 5-8 seconds depending on the length and
texture of the hair. Open the clamp and release the curl from the iron. To maintain the curl let
the hair cool before combing or brushing.
If you want corkscrew curls, wind less hair. The more hair you wind the larger curls.
.OTE
Keep the heated parts away from scalp, face, neck and hands.
Never use the appliance on wigs and artificial hair without testing on a small hair section first,
otherwise the wig/artificial hair may melt.
