remove the battery pack:
•
Remove the ”Lift & Wash” button by means of a screwdriver
or the like.
•
Then loosen the barrel of the hair clipper.
•
Unscrew the four screws under the barrel and cut off the
contact plates from the battery. The hair clipper should
under no circumstances be reconnected to the power
source when open. Dispose of the batteries in accordance
with the instructions in ”Environmental considerations at
disposal of batteries”
Environmental considerations at disposal of batteries
When changing batteries it is essential to take the environment
into consideration. Used batteries must never be disposed of
with domestic garbage, but should be returned to an authorized
collection point. Batteries must be removed from the appliance
before it is disposed of. Also take care that the batteries have not
expired or have become worn-out, since there may be a risk that
the batteries will leak. Check the validity date on the batteries.
Remember to remove the batteries before they get too old.
