Preparation of the draught beer dispenser
Do not lift the draught beer dispenser by the tap. Instead it should be lifted by the handles
(8) on either side of the dispenser.
Before use we recommend to clean the drip tray and the stainless steel plate (7) with hot
water and detergent. Make sure that both parts are carefully wiped off before use. Also the
appliance itself should be wiped off with a damp cloth and detergent.
The appliance must be placed on a flat and stable surface
and not exposed to direct sun light. To ensure necessary
cooling of the keg you must allow a minimum distance of 15
cm above the appliance, to the sides and to the rear. The
distance to a stove or other heat generating sources must
be kept at a minimum of 75 cm. See picture.
The tap unit with handle (3), which is enclosed separately in the box, is easily mounted
on the draught beer dispenser. Unscrew the small screw which is located underneath the
tap unit. The complete tap unit easily clicks on to the chromium front of the draught beer
dispenser (cf. the illustration). Fasten the screw to make sure that the tap handle is securely
mounted. Be careful not to tighten the screw too much. .
Fan speed regulator
The DraughtMaster™ dispenser is designed to operate at ambient temperatures of 15-24˚C
at fan speed setting 1. At ambient temperatures of 25 - 28˚C fan speed setting 2 should be
used. The switch for the fan speed is positioned on the opposite side of the on/off switch and
has two settings
1 = normal speed
2 = high speed
The fan noise will be somewhat higher at pos. 2.
If the DraughtMaster™ is used at ambient temperatures below 15˚C there is a risk of freezing
the beer. At ambient temperatures above 24-28˚C respectively (depending on the fan speed
setting), the serving temperature of the beer may be too high, which may cause excessive
foam in the glass.
