Pre-cool feature
The DraughtMaster™ dispenser can be pre-cooled 1 to 2 hours before use. By switching
on the unit (without keg), the appliance will cool down and prepare for insert of a pre-cooled
keg.
Never operate the unit with open lid, but always keep the appliance fully assembled in pre-
cool condition. This will ensure optimum performance.
Preparation of the keg
Remove the keg from the cardboard packaging and pre-chill it in a refrigerator or in a bucket
with ice cubes/cold water. Pre-chill the keg for min. 12 hours positioned in the coldest area
of the refrigerator (at 6˚C). If you are in doubt as to wether the keg is cold enough, leave it in
the draught beer dispenser for 3-4 hours before dispensing beer.
Remember to remove the cardboard packaging as this will speed up the cool down
process.
It is recommended that the beer has a temperature of 6°C when the keg is placed in the
draught beer dispenser. If the temperature in the keg is too high, too much foam will be
produced when the beer is dispensed. The first 1-2 glasses of beer may produce too much
foam which is quite normal. It is recommended to rinse the glass in cold water before
dispensing beer. It is important that the glass is clean and it is also a good idea to pre-chill
the glass.
Installing the keg in the draught beer dispenser
IMPORTANT!
Only original “DraughtMaster™” kegs may be used with the draught beer
dispenser. If attempts are made to use other kegs, the warranty will be invalidated.
Before installing a keg in the draught beer dispenser, check the best before date shown
on the keg. Never use a keg with an exceeded best before date. The durability of an
unopened keg is about 6 months. Once a keg has been opened, the beer stays fresh
for about 21 days if the keg has been stored in the draught beer dispenser and the
appliance has been switched on. Never re-install a previously opened keg in the draught
beer dispenser.
Before opening the draught beer dispenser please make sure that the power supply is
switched off. Turn off the On-/off main switch (6).
Important!
The sealing ring (9) must be rinsed in luke-warm water before use and every
time a new keg is installed.
