Use
Wash the bowl and accessories in hot water with a washing-up liquid before
use. Rinse and wipe thoroughly.
Position the appliance on an even and dry surface before switching it on. Make
sure that the on/off button is in OFF position and check that the appliance
is unplugged when mounting the bowl and the accessory. Press the release
handle and position the mixer head vertically. Put the bowl in the bracket on
the kitchen machine. Turn the bowl clockwise until it is firmly attached to the
bowl bracket.
Mount the accessory you want (stirrer, dough hook or whisk) on the coupling.
Push the accessory upwards and turn counter-clockwise to attach it to the
coupling.
Add ingredients. Take care not to overfill the bowl. Max. quantity is 1 kg. Press
the handle down to lower the mixer head, keep your hand on the mixer head
when it is lowered into the bowl and connect to a power socket. Next, mount
the splash guard on the bowl. Activate the appliance by turning the speed
selector to the wanted speed. See instructions as to selection of speed later in
the manual.
Make sure that there are always ingredients in the bowl before switching on
the kitchen machine. Follow the instructions of the recipe to be used.
When the mixture/the whipping is ready, turn the on/off button to OFF and
unplug.
Remove the splash guard from the bowl, press the handle down and put the
mixer head in vertical position and remove the accessory. Remove the bowl
from the bracket by turning the bowl counter-clockwise.
Note:
When mixing heavy types of dough the machine should only be used for
10 minutes at a time, and then let it cool off for 20 minutes.
Overheating
The kitchen machine comprises a thermostat to ensure a long lifetime of the
appliance and which is activated if the motor is overloaded. If the thermostat is
activated, switch off the appliance and unplug. Wait for 20 minutes before you
switch on the appliance again.
Setting of speed
Plug the appliance. We recommend that you always start at the lowest speed
and then increase the speed a little at a time. Put the splash guard on the bowl
to avoid splashing. See the table below as to recommended settings of speed.
