Do not use sharp objects or scratching detergents for the cleaning of the soleplate,
as such products will scratch the soleplate and thereby shorten the lifetime of the
iron considerably. Always remember to empty the iron completely in order to avoid
unnecessary scaling.
Never pour vinegar or other available descaling product in the iron itself. Do
not use demineralised or distilled water. Such liquids may combine with the
metallic parts of the iron and damage it. Damages to the iron or garments due
to the use of other liquids than tap water are not covered by the warranty.
