3. Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and press the on/off button on the control
panel.
4. Set the wanted temperature by means of the temperature knob depending
on the item to be ironed. The signal lamp goes on and the iron is heating.
5. When the signal lamp goes out, the set temperature has been reached and
you can start ironing.
Warning!
Do not touch the soleplate when it is hot.

Having finished ironing, press the switch (ON/OFF) for about 3 seconds and
unplug. Let the iron cool completely.
7. When the iron has cooled, you can again place it on the thermal insulating
cushions of the steam station as follows: Put the heel of the iron towards the
rear support and place the soleplate on the locking pin and press it down
(see illustration). Now rotate the iron clockwise until it is secured in the front
support hook.
Note!
Never position the warm soleplate in any other way
than against the thermal insulating cushions of the steam station.
Steam ironing
1. Hold on to the handle of the water tank and press the release button to
remove the water tank from the steam station.
2. Open the lid and fill up with tap water and close the lid again. Do not exceed
the maximum level (1.5 litre) of the water tank.
3. Put the water tank back on the steam station.
4. Press the release button and at the same time turn the the iron anticlockwise
in order to lift the iron from the steam station. Next, position the iron at the
front support hook.
Note!
Never press the locking pin in order to lift the iron.
5. Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and press the ON/OFF button on
the control panel. The low steam capacity indicator (preset) is flashing.
Adjust the steam capacity if needed by pressing the STEAM button until
the wanted signal lamp is flashing (low, medium, high). Set the wanted
temperature by means of the temperature knob on the iron, depending
on the item to be ironed. The signal lamp goes on and the iron is heating.
Note that the steam function does not work at the lowermost temperature
setting.
6. After a couple of minutes the signal lamp on the iron goes out, which indicates
that the set temperature has been reached. If the steam capacity indicator of
the chosen steam capacity has stopped flashing, you can start steam ironing
by pressing the steam button on the iron.
