Warning!
Do not touch the soleplate when it is hot. Do not point the jet of
steam towards people or animals.
8. When the ironing is done, press the switch (ON/OFF) for about 3 seconds until
you hear a beep and all indicator lamps are off. Always unplug and let the
iron cool completely.
9. When the iron has cooled, you can again place it on the thermal insulating
cushions of the steam station as follows: let the heel of the iron rest against
the rear support hook and place the soleplate on the locking pin and press
it downwards. Now rotate the iron clockwise until it is fastened in the front
support hook.
Note!
Never position the warm soleplate in any other way
than against the thermal insulating cushions of the steam station.
Note that the steam station switches over to stand-by if not used for 10 minutes.
Press the ON/OFF button to restart.
IMPORTANT!
If you use the steam function it is important to keep children away due to
the risk of burns. Keep your fingers off the jet of steam when this function
is on.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always unplug and let the iron cool completely before cleaning and
maintenance.
•
Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild washing-up
liquid. Do not use scratching detergents or sponges for cleaning.
•
Wipe the steam station and the iron with a damp cloth and wipe off.
•
When the signal lamp indicating lime scaling goes on, the steam station needs
descaling. Make sure that the steam station cools off completely. Remove the
iron and the water tank from the steam station. Turn the steam station and
unscrew the lid at the underside by means of the delivered tool (see fig.) Pour
water in the opening and shake it to loosen the lime deposits. Pour out the
water and repeat if necessary.

Put the lid back on and turn the steam generator upside down.
•
Clean the water tank by lifting it off the steam station according to the above
instructions. Empty the water tank and add a little water and shake it a couple
of times. Next rinse is thoroughly.
