Before Use
Before the hair dryer is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully and
save it for later.
Use
Towel dry the hair and brush it thoroughly so all loose hair is removed before using the hair
dryer. Plug in the appliance and choose the desired setting/heating with the switch on the handle
of the hair dryer. The hair dryer has 2 speed/heat settings. High temperature and high airflow is
preferable for fast drying, or if you just need a light drying before styling. Switch off the hair dryer
by pushing the switch to 0.
Cool function
The different settings can be affected by the cool button (cold air). Push the button upwards for
continuous use, or just keep it pressed for short use. The hair cools, which gives you a longer
lasting styling. Push down the button or release it to shut of the function. When the cool function
is activated the speed might increase a bit.
Ionic function
The built-in ionic function:
- prevents build-up of static charge on your hair
- makes the hair shiny
- dries the hair fast
The ionic function reduces static charge of your hair and shorten the drying time which makes
it more gentle to your hair. The ionic function is automatically activated when switching on the
hair dryer.
Concentrator
The concentrator spout concentrates the air current, when a hair style should be formed, e.g.
with a round brush. The concentrator spout is mounted with a light pressure, and is twisted off
after use. If the hair should be dried fast, remove the spout and choose a high temperature
setting and high airflow.
Hanging loop
This hair dryer has a hanging loop on the cord which makes it easy to store after use.
Overheating
The hair dryer is protected against overheating, caused by e.g. a covered or blocked air intake
or it the exhaust is blocked. In the event of overheating the hair dryer will stop automatically. If
this happens, switch off the hair dryer, let it cool off, and the hair dryer will be ready again after
a short while.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning.
•
Clean the air intake regularly. As an advantage a small, soft brush can be used to remove
dust and hair, or clean the air intake with a vacuum cleaner, while the hair dryer is switched
off.
•
The surface is wiped with a soft, slightly wet cloth.
•
The appliance should not be immersed in water or other liquids.
