Before use
Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth and clean the parts as instructed in
”Cleaning and maintenance”.
The stick mixer can be used for puréeing, mixing, whisking and chopping
quickly and simply. To achieve even results, the ingredients to be mixed should
be cut into smaller pieces first.
The stick mixer should be used in the container provided, but can also be used
in other containers, such as bowls, pots or pans. If you use it with another
container, you should be careful to avoid splashes. If you intend to use it
directly in pans, remove them from the stove so that the mixer is not exposed
to high temperatures (max. 75-85ºC) from the hot base of the container.

Use
The stick mixer is perfect for sauces, soups, dressings, pesto, baby food, etc.
Attach the mixer stick (5) by pressing it firmly onto the motor section (4). Plug
the appliance in. Make sure the cord does not get in the way.
Immerse the stick blender completely in the ingredients before starting the unit
to avoid splashing. Carefully move the stick blender up and down along the
sides in slow, rotating movements.
Start the appliance by pressing the power switch (1). The speed can then be
continuously adjusted by turning the speed control at the top of the motor
section. When the switch is released, the appliance turns off.
To activate the turbo function, press the turbo button (3) while mixing. Hold the
button for intervals of 10 seconds and continue until the ingredients have the
desired consistency.
As the stick mixer works quickly, most ingredients will be ready in less than
one minute. It is therefore a good idea to work in short intervals, particularly
initially, so you get used to handling the stick mixer.
Note that the stick mixer should only be used for 1 minute at a time in cycles
of 3 when mixing soft ingredients. You must then pause for 30 minutes before
using the stick mixer again. For hard ingredients, use the appliance for 15
seconds at a time in cycles of 3. You must then pause for 30 minutes.
