Important
•
Never transport the SodaMaster with the CO2 cylinder mounted in the machine. Always
transport the SodaMaster and the CO2 cylinder separately.
•
Only use CO2 cylinders that are compatible with the machine and marked with Carbone
Dioxide CO2 E290.
•
Always store and handle the CO2 cylinder as prescribed on the article.
Changing the CO2 cylinder
If no carbon dioxide is emitted when pressing the carbonation button, the cylinder is empty.
Now proceed as follows:
1)
Position the SodaMaster machine face downwards on a plane and soft surface (to avoid
scratches)
2)
Demount the rear shield by pressing the bottom button and lift is upwards from the
bottom
3) Lift the rear shield and disengage it completely from the machine
4) Remove the cylinder and reposition the lid on the cylinder
5)
Remove the seal and the lid of the new CO2 cylinder (save the lid for exchange or return
of the carbon dioxide cylinder)
6)
Insert the new CO2 cylinder from the bottom of the machine and turn it clockwise until it
engages
7)
Now mount the top of the rear shield into the top of the machine and click to position the
rear shield
Suggestion:
We recommend that you keep a spare CO2 cylinder in the house in order to be
able to use the appliance while exchanging the empty cylinder.
Fílling and mounting of the water bottle
1)
Always clean the bottle in detergent water before use (max 40°C warm water). Rinse
carefully in clean water after cleansing.
2)
Fill the water bottle with cold water to the middle of the MAX and MIN markings.
Never
add more or less water than these levels.
Always keep the tip of the carbonation tube
immersed in the water.
3)
Tip the bottle bracket outwards and insert the water bottle in the thread. Turn the bottle
clockwise until fi rmly engaging (never use unnecessary force, which might damage the
machine).
4) Make sure that the water bottle is fi rmly secured
5) The water bottle is correctly mounted when the OBH Nordica logo faces straight forward
Removal of the water bottle
Tip the bottle outwards and turn it clockwise until the thread is disengaged and the bottle
can be removed.
NOTE:
The water bottle must not be used in the appliance after the expiry date imprinted on
the bottle. The water bottle must be disposed of like other plastic bottles.
Carbonation of water (addition of sparkles in tap water)
ONLY use cold tap water in the SodaMaster,
as use of tepid water can result in overfl ow
and less absorption of carbon dioxide in the water. Carbonation in sugary liquids can result in
overfl ow that might damage the machine. Such incident will not be covered by the warranty.
