No carbon dioxide is added to the water when pressing the carbonation button
• The
CO2 cylinder is empty – insert a new one
•
The CO2 cylinder has not been properly secured in the machine – Remove the shield
and turn the CO2 cylinder until properly engaged
•
The soda water bottle has not been properly secured in the machine. The water bottle is
correctly mounted when the OBH Nordica logo is pointing straight forward
•
There is not enough water in the bottle. The water level shall be between the MIN and
the MAX indicators
Low concentration of carbon dioxide
• The
CO2 cylinder is empty – insert a new cylinder.
•
The CO2 cylinder is too cold – Wait until the CO2 cylinder has reached room temperature.
•
The water is too hot (max 12ºC). Only use tepid water to obtain the best result.
Safety/important information
1.
Read the instruction manual of the SodaMaster machine and the instructions on the
CO2 cylinder carefully before use and save them for later use
2. Only use the machine for the intended purpose.
3. Only use EU approved CO2 cylinders. Carbon dioxide CO2 E290; volume 425 gram.
4. Only use water bottles from OBH Nordica, type 6601.
5. Never leave it to children to change the CO2 cylinder.
6. Only let children use the SodaMaster machine under supervision.

Never put the machine or the CO2 cylinder on or near hotplates, open fi re or the like.
Ambient temperature max 50°C.

Never transport the SodaMaster with a CO2 cylinder mounted in the machine. The
SodaMaster machine and the CO2 cylinder shall always be transported separately.
9. Only use a CO2 cylinder of room temperature.
10. Never carbonize an empty water bottle or without a fi lled bottle in the machine.
11. Never use deformed, miscoloured or cracked water bottles.

NOTE: The water bottle must not be used in the appliance after the expiry date imprinted
on the bottle. The water bottle must be disposed of like other plastic bottles.
13. Never freeze water bottles.

NOTE! If the fi lled water bottle is shaken, an overpressure can occur because of the
carbon dioxide. Open the bottle slowly to ease the pressure. Keep the opening of the
bottle away from your body when opening the bottle.

If the appliance is damaged or a malfunction is found, stop using the appliance
immediately. Hand in the appliance for repair with the dealer. IMPORTANT: Hand in the
appliance without a mounted CO2 cylinder. Non-authorized attempts to repairing the
machine can damage the appliance. In case of such damage the warranty and liability
for damages will be void.
16. The appliance is for domestic use only, not for professional use.

If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or if it is not handled in
accordance with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will
rest with the user. Any damages to the product or other consequences are not covered
by the warranty.
Warranty
Warranty according to current law. Machine stamped sales ticket/receipt with date of
purchase shall be presented in case of a complaint. The appliance shall be returned to the
store of purchase.
