Inserting or replacing batteries
The meat thermometer uses one AAA 1.5V battery. First remove the cover
from the battery compartment on the rear of the meat thermometer. Insert the
battery in the compartment and make sure its + and – terminals are pointing
the right way as indicated in the compartment.
