Environmental considerations when replacing the
battery
When replacing batteries it is necessary to consider the environment.
Used batteries must never be disposed of together with household
waste. Used batteries marked with the waste management symbol must
be disposed of at authorised collection points. You must also make sure
that you do not let the batteries get too old and low in power, as there
is a risk of them starting to leak. Check the expiry date for the batteries
and remove them before they get too old. Remove the batteries before
discarding the product.
Discarding used equipment
By law electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for
recycling of components. Electrical and electronic equipment marked
with the waste management symbol must be disposed of at a municipal
recycling point.
Consumer protection
Consumer protection is according to current legislation. A date-stamped
receipt must be produced in the event of any complaint. In the event of
a complaint, the equipment must be returned to the place where it was
purchased.
