High speed – level II – for all kinds, such as:
Carrots, apples, peppers, potatoes, pineapples, cabbage, celery, spinach, fennel and other
root vegetables.
Press the fruits and vegetables slowly down the feed chute by means of the pusher. Never
press too hard, as this may reduce the speed and the extraction. Always keep the motor
running while pressing fruit and vegetables down the pusher. The liquid runs down into the
juice container that holds up to 0.9 litre, and the pulp ((the remaining mass) is ejected into
the separate pulp container that holds up to 2 litres.
If anything is stuck and the juice extractor decelerates or stops, switch off the appliance and
clean the grater.
The juice centrifuge must operate only 1 minute at a time, if you prepare a big amount of
fruits and/or vegetables.
Important: Always empty and clean the pulp container after use.
Always switch off the appliance after use by pushing the control button back to its upper
position. Wait 10 to 15 seconds for the grater to stop rotating. Let the last drops of juice run
into the jug and unplug the appliance from the socket.

preparation of fruit and vegetables
You can preferably use fruits/vegetables directly from the refrigerator, when you want to make
cold juice. Clean fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Remove big seeds from e.g. peaches,
plums, cherries and apricots, whereas apples and pears can be prepared without removing
the core. Peel fruits and vegetables with a thick, green peel (e.g. melons, pineapples and
cucumbers) and citrus fruits in order not to damage the grater. Spots and bruises should also
be removed before preparation.
Some good advice
•
Always use fresh fruits and vegetables, as they are more juicy.
•
Press soft fruits and vegetables at low speed to get the best extraction result.
•
We recommend that you drink the juice just after preparation, as juice deteriorates fast
when exposed to air, and this may change the taste and the colour of the juice. Apple
and pear juice brownish fast, but by adding a few drops of lemon you postpone the
discolouring of the juice.
•
The sooner you drink the juice, the more vitamins you get.
•
Fresh juice shall be diluted when served for children (1:1).
•
Juice made of dark green (broccoli, spinach etc.) or dark red (beetroot, red cabbage
etc.) vegetables is very strong and should always be diluted.
•
Fruits that are rich on starch such as papaya, avocado, bananas and figs are not suitable
for juice. We recommend using a food processor or a stick mixer to get a good result with
such ingredients.
