Preparing the isCon
®
conductor
• When using the isCon Pro+ 75 GR conductor:
Using a cable knife, remove the grey external jacket to a length of
50 mm (see also “5.1 Cutting and stripping the isCon
®
conductor” on
page 28).
WARNING
Risk of function loss!
If there is a lightning strike, connection faults can lead to devices being
destroyed, fires triggered and human lives being endangered.
After stripping, ensure an even cut edge.
Remove excesses by hand.
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Sharp blades in the cutting head of the stripping tool isCon stripper 2.
Do not reach into the cutting head of the stripping tool isCon stripper 2!
• Using a stripping stool, e.g. isCon stripper 2, reveal the copper core
along a length of 25 mm.

• Free the front area of the black, weakly conductive layer or protective
jacket from impurities and grease (e.g. OBO art. no. 5408 060).
