End piece mounting
The fire protection duct must be tightly closed to prevent fire from
spreading to the cables or smoke gases from escaping during a cable
fire. Open cable ends are closed off with an end piece suitable for the
fire protection duct.
Note!
Sealing strips are already pre-mounted on the end pieces at the factory.
Risk of damage!
When the end piece is screwed on, the edges can chip, making the end
piece unusable. Pre-drill the end piece before mounting.
Note!
Mount the end piece (with the sealing strip

) in front of the duct.
1. Mount the end piece in front of the end of the duct with at least 4
countersunk head screws
