Back Belt. When used together with a complete
back safety training program, your back belt is designed to support your lower back and
abdominal muscles to help promote proper posture and good body mechanics
while lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and repetitive bending or twisting.
APPLYING YOUR BACK BELT
Helpful Hint:
When applying your belt, try lying down to make sure your stomach is
as flat as possible.
1. Wear your back belt either on top of or under clothing.
2. If using a back belt with suspenders, slip them over your shoulders. The
suspenders allow your back belt to be worn unfastened when it’s not in use. If
you do not require the suspenders, you can easily remove them.
