Managing the texts in the e-mails
When user select photos from the Event Stream and e-mail them to themselves, OCCO sends an e-mail
to users with a link to their personal albums. It is up to the OCCO owner to decide how that e-mail
should look like. You can change the subject line, the name that appears in the “From” field and of
course the body of the e-mails.
To manage those settings, log in to your Admin Console at
, go to “My Events”, select an
event for which you want to customize the e-mail texts and modify desired fields.

Managing Light and DSLR Camera settings
OCCO is a photography device. It comes with a quality Canon DSLR, which allows it to capture quality
images in virtually all environments. However, some basic understanding of lighting, camera and OCCO
options is necessary to ensure great a final product.
Default Settings
By default, OCCO’s Canon DSLR is set to be in Tv (Shutter Priority) mode. This is done using the
mechanical dial on the camera itself. Tv is a flexible option that will fit a variety of situations.
Out of the box, the Shutter Speed is set to be 1/125 and assumes a flash unit will be turned on and
aimed back and up at a neutral reflection surface. That surface can be an environment itself, e.g. white
or gray walls, the ceiling, etc. Or it can be an umbrella reflector that attaches to the back of the machine.
The power of the flash unit can be controlled by opening the back door of OCCO (using the combination
lock) – and using + and – buttons to increase or decrease the power output of the flash. Then a few test
pictures should be taken at distances from 1m to 3m, and depending on the result – the power output
of the flash and/or the direction in which it points should be adjusted.
