Designating Images/Text to be Copied
Framing/Blanking
The Framing function copies only the image inside an area designated on an
original while the Blanking function copies the image by hiding the inside of a
designated area as a blank area.
The area designation can be performed with the number keys or edit pen. However,
it is not possible to use both the number keys and the edit pen for the area
designation at the same time.
For area designation with the edit pen, the optional Editor is needed.
If the IP-ED board is attached, the [Framing/Blanking] key is not displayed. If the Editor and the
IP-ED board are attached, press the [Area Designation] key to use the Framing/Blanking functions.
