The duplexing unit is not properly set.
Securely push it until it locks into place.
The original size is not automatically de-
tected when the Feeder is attached and the
original is placed on the platen glass. To
automatically detect the original size, make
copies with the Feeder lifted. To make
copies with the Feeder lowered, manually
select the paper size.
Too many originals have been set in the
Feeder. Reduce the number of originals.
Since there is an original remaining on the
platen glass, the Feeder cannot feed
originals. Remove the original from the
platen glass.
Carry out the shading properly. To perform
the shading using the non-exposed portion of
film, use the slide mount.
Stapling cannot be performed due to too dark
image. Remove the paper from the bins.
Sorting has stopped due to extreme differ-
ences in copy density between the front and
back sides during two-sided copying.
Remove the paper from the bins.
Turn the power switch OFF, wait for a short
while, and then turn it ON again. If the copier
still does not operated properly, turn the
switch OFF, unplug the power cord from the
outlet, and contact your service representa-
tive.
The Feeder is out of order. Contact your
service representative. Copies can be made
without the Feeder.
The slide guide settings of the stack bypass
do not match the paper size specified for the
