Making Two-sided Copies (Two-sided Mode)

(Start).
If you use the platen glass for copying, follow the instructions on the touch panel
display to press (Start) each time you place an original on the platen glass.
Copying starts.
If the Auto Counting function is not turned off, auto counting of the number of
originals begins as soon as you press (Start). Copying starts once the
counting is complete.

To cancel the setting, press [Two-sided Mode]

[Cancel].

To restore the copiers settings to the standard copy settings, press
(Reset).

Making Two-sided Copies from Two-sided Originals

This function enables you use the feeder (option) to automatically turn over and
copy a two-sided original onto both sides of one sheet of paper.

2-sided copying is available only when the feeder (option) is attached to the CLC
1180.

2-sided copying cannot be made on the following paper:
- 17 to 20-lb bond (64 to 79 g/m

) paper
- Postcards, irregular size paper
- Transparencies
- Paper loaded in the stack bypass
NOTE

The maximum number of copies that can be specified is 50.
•
If the feeder (option) is used and the Sort mode is specified, the maximum number of
copies that can be specified changes to 20.
