Adjusting the Color Range
(Color Range Adjustment)
The color gradations of originals with a high saturation level are sometimes not
reproduced optimally. Use the Color Range Adjustment function to enable the
copier to better differentiate between slight differences in the levels of gradation to
reproduce the original more faithfully. (See “What the CLC 1180/1140 Can Do,” on
p. 1-13.)

If <Auto> is selected for the copy exposure in the Basic Features screen, pressing [Image
Quality Adjustment] and adjusting the image quality will cancel Automatic Exposure.
Similarly, if you select <Auto> for copy exposure when adjusting the image quality, Image
Quality Adjustment will be canceled and automatic exposure will be used.

Place the originals; then press [Sp. Feature]
➔
[Image Quality
Adjustment].

Press [On] for Color Range Adjustment; then press [Fine].
Press [Off] if you do not want to adjust the color range.
