•
Installing your Amphibians on your boat trailer makes
launching in the dark easier, but please remember not to
use your lights when driving.
•
Many users install the same colour lights above water
as they have underwater for a consistent effect or
appearance.
•
Some local authorities prohibit the use of coloured lights
above or below water. Please check with your local
authorities before installation.
Spacing -
•
When installing multiple lights on a single object, i.e.
on a mast, engine cowling, t-top, etc., even spacing is
important for the best visual appearance.
Installation -
•
Test units before installation.
•
Make sure that when installing any underwater light,
the entire rear of the light is always coated in sealant to
prevent any water ingress into the hull from rear of the
unit.
•
When switching lights on for the first time, take into
consideration water clarity, ambient light etc as first time
impressions can be marred by poor conditions.
