8.1.1  Installation location

 

The outdoor unit must not be surrounded by walls/

objects on all four sides.

 

The outdoor unit must not be surrounded by walls/

objects on three sides.

 

The outdoor unit must not be positioned immediately 

adjacent to walls/objects on two sides.

 

The outdoor unit may be positioned adjacent to walls/

objects on two sides, provided the machine-specific 

minimum clearances are observed.

 

It is permissible to install the outdoor unit under a roof 

if the unit is permanently surrounded by open space 

on three sides and the machine-specific minimum 

clearances are observed.
